When I do get to go home, one of the first things my oldest boy (Stevie, who's 4 1/2) asks is for all of us to go to the basement to listen to music. We spend hours playing music, dancing together, and rolling around on the floor. Needless to say, I think that the speakers we purchased have been one of the best purchases I've ever made. Our time together (although short now) is filled with great music, great times, and more and more memories as time goes on.
Another 12 or so years there will be loud music played, dancing and rolling around on the floor ... the only difference is that you'll not be invited Steve, and may even be shunned as a total and clueless stranger. "What I'd really like, Dad, is to borrow the car keys. See you later, can I have them please?"
