Lath and plaster !! Oh man, I hate that stuff.. Old home construction material.. You see it on the likes of "This Old House", etc all the time.. I feel your pain..
Our main house is allllll lath n plaster, and just hanging up a picture is an ordeal.. Instant 'make a mess', if you know what I mean..
The rooms I added to the stand alone garage are drywall.. Now that is the stuff Kingdoms are made of !!! hahaha..
"My" two rooms are "Mine", and my wife is not allowed to bring in any of her girl-flower-smelly-pretty stuff.. It's a rule set down in stone.. (well, in drywall anyway)
She doesn't mind, she has the entire main house to potpourri to death.. Gag !
