Have to laugh at those reviews, of course the 607 sounded as good as the 3808 at lower volumes, so do the lower priced Denon's etc.. You are paying, and at a premium I might add, for a few extra bells and whistles and slightly higher wattage/power output, which is why the 3808 sounded better at higher volumes.
