10" sub = music only

12" sub - Music/HT

I have found 10" subs lack the air movement needed for a good HT experience. A 10" sub is of course better than no sub but for me, a 12" sub just works that much better. You get deeper lower LFE which is what you want for HT. A 12" sub loses nothing for music and you get all the gains of the lower end play back \:\) .
