Hi - I will be putting speakers on what is basically a low shelf. (In actuality, I'm installing the in-cabinet M-60) and will be building a shelf attached to a wall to raise them about 16 inches.

I had tought there should be a "hard" connection between speaker bottom and shelf.i.e metal spikes or something.

But I see that the speaker already has a sheet of foam on the bottom. - Which would seem to indicuate the opposite is needed.

I'm looking for advise becaseu it's likely I will have to add something to the shelf to tweek the desired hieght. Should that added material be something like rubber, or solid like tile?

Thanks, Scott
