Yeah, the cost comparison is an easy win for disc golf (vs "ball" golf). For $30 or less, you can get three discs that'll last for months or years, depending on how many trees you hit. Oh, and whether or not you throw them into a lake. No greens fees. No special clothes or shoes required.

I've been playing off and on for 15+ years, and haven't put any money into equipment for years. Never lost a disc until last weekend. I think it went down a sewer drain. After it cleared that hill, I lost sight of it and it was nowhere to be found. I was bummed out, because it was my Stingray, my only anhyzer disc. Think that one has to be replaced. Hey, my birthday is coming up...
