b_man old hand Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 64 Illinois, USA	Well I guess Alan took care of most of your questions. The SS16 stands are very light, but the triangle footprint makes them fairly stable. I am using the metal spikes on a carpeted floor. I have a crazy cat that hasn't managed to knock them over yet (key word is yet), so with a little extra weight they should be okay for your boys.
