I have the M60 Ti's (like V1).
I like the way they look, I like the way they sound.
AND there are numerous people here that have heard BOTH in the same room (I am not one of them). I have heard the M80's on several occasions and yes, they are terrific. My perception is that they do handle a bit more power with a bit more grace. Without extended listening in a familiar environment, I am unable to know whether their performance at lower volume levels is "better". I believe that jakewash has made that comparison and now drinks the M80 kool-aid.
I listen to music and movies pretty loud in a pretty big room, and don't feel the need for M80's. YMMV.
Snazzed - good call on the Outlaw subs. Hey, how about a subwoofer kit from
Creative Sound Solutions? They get good reviews.
