the human body contains as many parasites as there are people on earth.
some would love to see all microbial life dead forever, anywhere and everywhere.

i think that a good reason for people to act the way they do - scrub and scrub and scrub - is that the "enemy" is invisible, so it can be everywhere (and it is).

we would be quite surprised if we could see clearly everything that floats in the soup we live in, like if it was snow falling on the ground.
