I agree with Tom, leave the LCD off. That's going to raise the price and there's no guarantee (or way) to make it work with everything.

Airplay will play anything that it receives; it's not a translator, it's more like an optical cable without the cable.

Heck, if you were to package Airfoil from Rogue Amoeba and, say, Twonky Beam for Android with the speakers, you could get away with making them Airplay only, except for anti-bois like Ben who won't touch anything that possibly might have been associated with Apple.

Well, that and people who only run Linux.
