yes ,the m80s are sitting on top of 2 velodyne subwoofers.i always found that i get the best soundstage when the tweeters are at the same height, and the height is not a problem because my seat is 22' away.i have 4 rubber vibration isolater cubes under each m80 and the subs are spiked through the carpet.with all the levels set right the subs dont affect the soundstage like some would think.i tried probbably 2 or 3 million speaker positions(give or take a few) and luckily this one looks and sounds the best.when the kids are sleeping i shut the subs off and can still enjoy a movie thanks to the m80 powerfull bass.right now i am running a marantz thx-ultra 150x5 @8 ohms so im guessing at 4 ohms it might give the mains 200 or225 watts each.i am looking into a nad 218thx amp that is rated at 430 per channel at 4 ohms because the m80s are begging me for it...thanks Ron
