Wow, I was monitoring that sub thread for awhile but didn't realize he actually chimed in and is going to adjust the dsp for "gut punch"
I need overkill. It's my nature. I love bass too so that helps lol. But I can't be left with what ifs. I'll be buying the ep800 for sure. And for my room especially, I realize it's overkill...but I need that. Lol. If i move and my space doubles in size...it just means I can make due comfortably until I buy a second one

I too would be interested in dsp modes with different characteristics.
I'm okay with them dropping the physical dials/switches...as long as all those features can still be adjusted and the interface on whatever electronic device, is similar.
It's nice to adjust things from the listening position (s)
P.s. loved hearing about how you couldn't produce distortion or anything when pushing it that hot. Very encouraging
