What is the verdict? To bi-amp or not?
It seems that the benefits might outweigh the cost (in both terms of extra wire and time/energy).
My impression is that using your rear surrounds as a second room and re-routing sound through the receiver sounds like a lot of work (and might result in varied volume conditions). I could have just read wrong though, but it sounds like a fudged "end around" using the amp in a way that it wasn't really intended to be used.
I will use my rears for 7.1, but will likely not use my second room capability. Should I wire the fronts with the "A" and "B" outputs? Will that get me a bi-amp or a bi-wire?
Any thoughts would be helpful.
