No apologies necessary, Mark. It's very difficult not to rebut one who can only feel good about their opinion by denigrating those who hold an opposing one. It's the old, childish, "in order for me to be right, they HAVE to be wrong" trap.

When he grows up, he'll understand, particularly when it comes to anything as subjective as speaker preference, that when it comes to opposing opinions, neither is right; neither is wrong. The only wrong is being rude and insulting to those who hold the opposing opinion.
