Yeah, it's tricky because while I do listen to a lot of Ramones, Black Flag, etc - where the details aren't so important - I listen to a lot of stuff like Mission of Burma, Brian Eno, & various hiphop stuff where there's quite a lot of detail. I love that kind of thing (Steve Albini is a favorite producer). So it's kind of a matter of what will excel in one department and be good enough (more than, ideally) for the rest.
I have heard the M22s, I realize, and love them. I'm 100% confident Axioms are brilliant speakers - I'm just trying to work out if they're the brilliant speakers for me.

Anyone who has particular experience with the Titans or Klipsch I mention, feel free to chime in - they're the frontrunners so far. (Though what I'll probably do is order the Axioms and then go back and forth between my house and the stereo shop, which fortunately is right across the highway from my place).
