You planning to run yours in mono? Instantaneous peaks can go much louder which is why they have given us all that amp headroom which you seem to not think is relevant judging by your comments in the A1400-8 thread. That is key to good fidelity, which much to my amusement a lot of folks still refuse to acknowledge.
