M60s is loud enough, M80 is louder!! Choosing between the two is a dilema, since they also sound very similar (that's what everybody says, including the Axiom technicians I have spoken over the phone). Since you have a receiver, and since you are a first time Axiom buyer, I would suggest you get M60s first. Then you can exchange them no later than 30 days for M80s for no extra cost if you are not fully satisfied(Axiom will pay the shipping cost back to them for M60s as well, since this is considered an upgrade).

As Alan suggested, you may have to consider listening to them at somebody's home. That's what I did before I got my M60s four months ago. You'll create a very good idea how they sound, and look.
