Building on Mark's fine "One" ideas...

I think the amp needs a nice simple name. Either the "Axiom A1" or (for Ian) the A8.

Not to clutter up the thread or anything, but every since this amp was first announced I have been thinking "dang, that's expensive, they could make it a lot more affordable if only they..."

... but after months of occasional deep thoughts I really believe the Axiom folks are on the right track with this amp. Every year we see relatively more energy going to the surrounds, and the old "just put a power amp on the mains and center" idea gets a bit less appropriate.

Wait... I have a vision... yes, I see one of those Native American names like "Amp who Never Shut Down when Randy Demo for Friends".

Maybe not.
