I have a sneaking suspicion Mr. big wires is someone, whether a current member or not, who, regarding the disagreements about differences (or lack of same) in a/v equipment, is contemptuous of those who hold an opinion which differs from his own.
Being so incensed that anyone
dare disgree with his viewpoint, he has chosen (unfortunately for him) a rather inane, childish method of venting his spleen. The result is that he looks infinitely more foolish than those he holds in contempt. I believe that to be a perfect example of being hoisted by one's own petard?
