I love my Samsung HL-S5687. The 5087 is only 45.4” wide, 32.3” high and 15.6” deep so it should fit but I’m not sure you can find it for $1,000 USD without getting one that’s refurbished.

Just one thing to note about the Samsung DLPs is a problem that some models have with their light engine. I know that the “R” and “S” series suffer from this, other models may also. Mine’s been fine but it did happen to a friend.
