I know Rick, I was unsure about all this myself. I can say there is a whole community of seperate amp people on Audio Circle that think we are all BS. I don't know, the Symphonic Line (what Odyssey is based on) has been around a long time, and both manufacturers explain this in the owners manual. I guess I don't design amps, so can't comment on the validity of the capacitors being drained and other breakin terminology. I can say that the amps do sound a little "thin" at first when they have been unplugged for some time, and do appear to open up, or whatever you want to call it, after being used for some time. BS, maybe, but Klaus has been around a long time and it very well respected in the amp community.
