I have said it before and will say it again, just have her/them pick the one THEY like and go with it. They all have one problem or another. Just stick to the usual suspects, Samsung, Panasonic, Sharp, etc. and all should be well. I will add I have been impressed with the PQ of the new LG sets as of late but haven't done any research on any issues that they might come with which might be why I am liking them
