Hi bridgman Congrats to you as well. At the moment I have the left speaker with about 10" behind and about 24" to the side. The right has the recommended 24" around but its placement is partially blocking the route to the adjoining rooms.....a bit cumbersome. I haven't had a chance to play with the DSP settings yet but question if they will be of much use considering it is just the one speaker that is too close. I intend to completely re-orient the room which will allow for much better placement of the speakers but the is going to be a monumental undertaking with the amount of cabling involved ( I have 4 external amps etc.). Another day
But even as is they still sound amazing. I was thinking about using the M5s for surrounds but they might be a bit of overkill. Probably will have to wait on that as I plan to get a multi channel amp first and my budget is temporarily blown with the LFRs.
