Wow, I make on offhand comment and you guys take hijacking to a whole new level! Excellent! Along the way we even managed to ruin the poor guy that started the thread. Though I must admit that the flame he threw disappeared like a fart in a tornado. I feel bad that we didn't provide more help.
Having said that (and having recovered from it
), I recently received a bottle of 14 year old Oban as a gift. Unfortunately, I am with bigjohn where scotch is concerned. A fine remover of rust. Can't warm up to it at all. In any event, I have a friend who owns a liquor store and he has agreed to exchange the Oban for a bourbon. I would really like to try the Black Maple Hill, but I don't know if he carries it.
