Bill, I have about a thousand classical CDs, but I'm really not very enthusiastic about seeing it on DVD. One exception, if you haven't considered it, is an area of the classical genre that has a more significant visual component: ballet. Arkiv and other sites have the usual lists of classical music DVDs which you can check. Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty and Swan Lake are notable, of course, along with Prokofiev's Cinderella and Romeo and Juliet. Swan Lake is a real favorite and you might consider this one .
