The M22 is more transparent and less colored than any speaker I know of that sells for less than $1,000. . . a beautifully tuned speaker with an enormously clean and musical midrange combined with a smooth, coherent and friendly treble.
What a difference a set of high quality, balanced and tonally matched speakers makes! Regardless of the source (Blu-ray, DVD, Digital TV broadcast, Call of Duty, and everything from heavily compressed digital music files to true lossless), in material I've listened to dozens of times, I heard nuance and detail I didn’t know existed.
The Axiom On-Wall series does an outstanding job of imaging the sound and gives any audio source a wonderfully wide and dynamic sound stage. That does not mean that there are not better options out there, but not anywhere close to the value that one can get from the Axiom offerings. In my opinion, the Axiom on-wall series provides a rich audio presentation combined with a sleek and modern look without sacrificing overall fidelity. They are the perfect blend of fit, function and finesse while still being financially viable for the average enthusiast.
If you're looking for a sound system at any price, you should hear the Epic Grand Master before you audition anything that costs more. You might be able to buy a much bigger television than you've been budgeting for.
The Grand Master is a truly synergistic, full range, enveloping system . . . I highly advocate that anyone looking for a complete home theater speaker system, at this price point and above, should consider the Epic Grand Master.
. . . it's no hype, the Axiom's really are an exceptional value in home theater and hi-fi loudspeaker systems. You will have to spend a lot more money to get a set-up that sounds better than the Axiom Epic Grand 5.1 surround package.
Without question this 5.1 Axiom speaker system represents a great value in a home theater speakers, and also has the performance level capable of satisfying even the most demanding HT fanatic (like myself!).
The Axiom team has created a capable line of affordable, extremely well-made loudspeakers with very few sonic faults, and a subwoofer that demonstrates amazing performance for $1200. During my time with the Axioms, I spent fewer hours analyzing and more time getting lost in film stories and tapping my foot to the music of my favorite artists.
Axiom's Epic Grandmaster 500 system offers knockout performance at an extremely reasonable price. Not only do the speakers sound fantastic, but they look good as well and should meet with the approval of the more design conscious persons in the house.
