The EP350 subwoofer really punched out the bass. If you're shopping for home-theater speakers, the Epic 60 should definitely be on your must-audition list.

The low frequency producing EP350 powered subwoofer produces a clean tight bass. This effect added a clean bass punch while never revealing its placement . . . I haven't heard anything else in its price range that comes close to this level of performance.

I never felt as though I would have to run for the volume control due to unwanted distortions. The EP350 subwoofer created a clean, controlled bass response that filled the room during bass demanding scenes.
. . . bombastic orchestral scores, pounding LFE tracks, densely layered sound effects and ambiance. The Axioms handled it all with panache, serving up a vibrant sonic performance, with all the dynamics, impact, detail, and spatial definition that you could ask for.
The EP175 is fast and tuneful and very, very clean. If you take the time to set it up optimally with the M22s, the results are astonishingly transparent and musical. That $900 speaker system will give you bass down 30Hz and a seamless, thrillingly musical soundstage. If your HT system has to perform double duty and play your music as well as your films, you could do a lot worse than the EP175. In fact, you'd have to spend a lot more money to do better.

The sub cranks out nice, deep and rich bass that'll rattle your walls if you want it to. Surprisingly for this price point, the sub comes with balanced and unbalanced inputs, which makes it compatible with broad range of receivers or amplifiers.
. . .this is one helluva lot of speaker for the money. You probably cannot find another serious speaker that can put out such prodigious volumes of clean sound or reach so very deep at this price or anywhere near it.
Not only has Axiom met all of its goals for this model; they've managed to do so at a price nearly everyone can afford. The M100's uncanny blend of low-compression, superb bass quality and quantity, and lively yet uncolored tonal balance, makes it one of the most well-rounded, non-hair-shirt, will-please-just-about-anyone speakers you can buy at any price.
