With all the controls and settings on these new receivers, I REALLY HAVE TO WONDER HOW A RECEIVER CAN BE TOO BRIGHT???

We had a discussion on another thread on this board about the definition of "bright" a month or so ago. Alan veified that "bright" was origionally used to describe speakers that did not have a flat response.

If the controls are set to "neutral" and the receiver really does meet its THD specifications across its rated frequency spectrum, THEN IT JUST CAN'T BE BRIGHT!!!!!
