Only bad thing I ever heard about Onkyo was on the AVS Forum where the general consensus was that Onkyo has an extreemly "Warm" sound.
Or you could visit that "other" forum where the major word is that they are too "cool"
....hmmmmmm.....

Actually the only bad thing is that we Onkyo owners don't get a lot of discussion here on the Axiom forum cuz our equipment just chugs along with no worries and no problems to comment about!!(unless someone from the outside comes along and "Quotes" one of those "other" forum stereotypes!!)
