Abyss: that worked. Thanks!!!! I can play the TV audio much louder, now. All of the inputs were at the default value of 0 dB. I changed my video 3 input to +8 dB and it made a significant difference.
I used the supplied microphone and the automatic setup last Saturday for installation. The speaker distances that it measured are correct. I'm not sure what to think about the other settings that it installed/ calculated. I wrote them all down and saved them. I will probably go through a manual setup with my Radio Shack meter and the Digital Video Essentials disk.
