Nothing especially helpful, Bernard, but if you like all the features, then the 703 should serve you well, regardless of whether you use the internal or external amps. Maybe you didn't list all the features important to you, but the ones listed could also be met at that price with the Denon 985(2805)and Yamaha 2500.
