It's amazing how much different ones ears are to another
I did the auto thing with my 4600. i hated it. Man I could not stand it. I also hated the pure direct crap. Horrible way too much mid's, no crisp detailed highs and bass was just a small thump.
Spent a lot of time making manual adjustments through the eq, distances and so on. I drove myself nuts with it basically. But I have a sound that is so much better then that ypao nonsense gave me that is for sure. Heck, straight out of the box I hated the sound of the yamaha. Now I love it.
