You will always find some bad reviews, but I think you'll find more positive reviews than bad.

Every room and set up is different and I think a lot of people do not take the time to properly balance and set up their system.

I've been very happy with my VP150, I used to have it on top of my TV but it's fairly heavy so I wall mounted it. This looked good but it was a little high and the diaologue seemed a little off. I have since moved to below my TV and it is way better and in my set up I believe the ideal placement.

Another common suggestion around here (among other places) is to get a matching center channel to your mains. So if you're looking at M22's for example, get 3 across the front. A lot of other users here have had great success running M2 or M3's as centers or dual centers having 1 above and 1 below the screen. Another Axiom owner has 2 spread out around 14" in the center of his room.
