Davey, a little more comment on the receivers. The new Yamaha 2400 and 1400 coming out this week are certainly within your price range(list $1,000 and $800, street probably less than $800 and $600). As to whether the iLink on the 55TXi is worth the extra money(street seems to be running about $300 more now)it depends on what if any extent you'd be getting into SACDs and DVD-As and whether you got a player with an iLink connection.
