Never a problem with a BlueRay here either.

Actually, we recently had a DVD rental that wouldn't play through past the 10 minute mark of the movie. Skipping ahead to later chapters also seemed fruitless. For fun I tried it on the Toshiba HD and my PC drive. They both rejected the disc completely but putting it back in the PS3 allowed me to get to the previews and menu again and even the extras. I was a little impressed with that but we still couldn't watch more than 10 min of the movie but it wasn't any players fault. It was just a badly abused rental disk.
