Be patient. They are busy and you are right, piano is a tricky finish. I ordered a custom speaker finsh as well and remind myself they are made to order one pair at a time.
They have pretty strict QC so rest assured they will look excellent.
I built some speakers a while back and learned just how hard it is to get a polished look. Very labour intensive!
I finally just gave up at really good but not perfect by any stretch. They cant do that.... yikes! Would be a tough way to make a buck with all the custom choices. Pretty cool for sure for us though.
