I got a PM from Ian about 2 weeks ago pertaining to my center M80 speaker, and he did say that they were finishing up a final solution on the EP800s, and I may get new amps shipped in the near future, so this is REALLY good news CV! JC did say replacement Subs, not Amps, so you may get lucky and not have to rewire this time!
