It may make you feel better to read this review from my experience with the EP800. It will make you feel decidedly better. \:\) Trust, me, the EP800 is a big slice of subwoofer nirvana.

It's still a beta project and some of the "testers" are experiencing as the bugs get worked out before final public release. To me it's a normal process and I'm glad to hear that Axiom is making it right (no surprise) for the few people who were unlucky with their initial orders.
