The trigger switch would certainly come in handy if you had the amp in a rack. My Rotel 5 channel amp has a trigger switch. It powers on and off when my processor gets turned on and off. And it's power button is on the front! It is a nifty feature, but in my case, certainly not a deal breaker.

BTW...since I know have to try replacing fuses, I'll take some pictures of the inside of the amp for you as well. I got the cover off last night. It's really a clean, straight forward looking beast. I know nothing about how amps work, so I can't say much more than that. I'll let the pictures do the talking when I post them.
