Good to know I'm thinking down the right path. I had the same question about what would be the best for scaling... TV vs Receiver vs DVD...

I've really been putting the video side of things on lower priority than the sound at this point. I've always considered putting my money into the sound a better investment at this point... with the changing world of TVs, HD/BluRay formats, etc... my speakers will be still around and kicking for years to come!
