Sonically, the EP500 & 600 are very similiar! You'll gain "2" whole notes on the bottom extension and "2" db more output with the EP600! Due to the physical differences however, the EP500 may be a better fit for your room (reason for my choice)!
Others here have had both and can make more objective suggestions. Either way, these Axiom subs are superb fits for both HT and Music!!
