There are very few cars that are as utterly & wickedly cool as a Cobra.
I wouldn't want a real one, as they're so precious you couldn't drive it. But a nicely done replica, now
that would be incredible to own.
I have never ridden in one but my father did. Back in the early 70's, one of his best friends bought one. My dad was a car nut and was certainly eager to see it. My dad often used to tell me that one of the most exciting things he had ever experienced in his life was a weekend he spent riding around in that Cobra & flying down Lake Shore Drive at 3am in the morning at 100+ mph, to the sound of that marvelous engine.....
Around the same time my dad also bought a brand new 1971 Corvette SS with the 454.
He loved the car but hated the motor. He always said that it spent more time in the shop that on the road. Go figure.
