Why don't you like using a device to operate your stuff?
I know for me, I don't mind provided the interface is responsive. If it's not, I just return the shit wherever I bought it. I have no time for that in my life. That's also an area I work in. I work hard to make stuff very usable so when others don't, I get really upset.
I like simplicity. I am NOT a tech guy, despite having the crap throughout my house and in my life. Electronic devices crash way too frequently. Don't even get me started on passwords......
