Depending on source detected remembers format to use, as well as subwoofer settings. (i.e. if it receives a Dolby Digital signal it'll switch to Dolby Digital mode, and boost sub +2 db)

Volume ramps up/down too slowly
No Bass Managment with multi-channel analog inputs
Speaker distance settings not in ms, not footage
Has a delay/glitch when detecting HDCD signals. (This glitch has been reported to vary from CD/DVD player to player. I'm lucky enough to have one that has an issue with the Rotel.)
