I think I have a setup close to that of an Outlaw combo...my Onkyo 800 ($900) has a pretty good front end, lots of features, THX certified, and my Marantz MM9000 is 170 watts x 5, and was a steal for $649...I think that for $1399 I got a setup that rivals more expensive systems. The original MSRP of the Marantz power amp alone was over $2k.

I used to lust after the Outlaw 950/770 combo, but not any more.
