Mr. Classic ROTFLMAO, your reply required you to make a number of assumptions:
- that I bought the receiver from them.
- that the salesperson was deceitful.
- that I am dim-witted and believe everything a salesperson tells me.
It just so happens that all these assumptions are false. I had gone into this particular shop on a number of occasions and I liked it because the sales staff were not pushy, were not jerks, and did not try to woo me with snake oil or steer me away from lower-priced components by telling me unsubstantiated things such as "that receiver is excessively bright." In fact, the salesperson knew I didn't even intend on buying the receiver there. I was really interested in the speakers -- Paradigm Montitor 9s -- which I
did end up purchasing. It just so happened that they had the exact receiver I planned on driving them with.
You come off as exceedingly rude.
