If it's DOA, I'm fairly sure they'd replace it, but what if it's just a few dead pixels, or some cosmetic blemish, or something else that's nothing major, but irritating, like a buzzing that's too loud. It might be that these things didn't happen right away, but sometime before the warranty expires. Or it take me a few months to notice that something was wrong, or not working.
Is there a guarantee that they are going to make good on it, or am I possibly just SOL?
How can I guarantee that I'm not getting a used for new exchange when I thought I bought new? Maybe it had some minor problem and the seller is trying to pawn if off on me. How can I guarantee that I'm not getting some old model that's been sitting in the back of someones warehouse that's before a lot of major fixes have taken place on the newer ones?
I worry about these things.
