I don't own a gun. I've served 4 years in the military, but I wouldn't let that qualify as responsible ownership. All they did when I was in was drill "Kill Kill Kill them bastards" into my brain. Not a good thing.

But for those to own a gun, need a good class, and psychological evaluation, that's got a time limit on it, where you have to take it again after so many years. Also, all guns should be kept locked up, so psycho family members can't gain access to them. Not a key lock, or a combo key and combination lock.
