what you'll see, by getting close to the monitor, is a dark gray image and some noise on the screen.


I just finished trying this. Put TV in HDMI 3 where nothing existed. Noticed the mode changed, so I set it to THX Cinema. The brightness was at 44. I had to change it to 50 before I could detect any change. Set it back to 44. Will have to try that with something playing on HDMI 1.
