I think your room looks pretty dang good. I favor simplicity over gaudiness myself.

I've watched a couple movies in my basement so far with just my old M3's and VP150. Nothing too serious (Puss in Boots ) but I'm already pretty happy with how it sounds. Can't wait for my M80's to show up!
